VPN client on LM
#1
Is there a possibility to implement on LM the VPN client which connects to a server L2TP or ipsec e.g. on Mikrotik.

On every automation project there is a subject with preparing static IP or dyndns and this should be secured. I see that Fibaro, Loxone and a lot of others producers has remote control which not require the static ip on a client side. I am thinking about preparing such function for LM.

The problem is because not in all regions the possibility to easy achieve such static IP is the same and also this is much more monthly cost for a client e.g. 25euro per month.

Maybe somebody knows how it is possible or maybe Embedded Systems has such plans?

Not exactly and unfortunately not with a solution on LM by only on a Spacelynk or Homelynk. And also this solution not allow to program KNX devices via ETS.

What about this subjet, I have a lot of client asking me the same, they would like having an VPN client inside the LM. Now I am putting a Mikrotik to do it, but if I could configure an LM as client VPN then I have one solution only with one device, or may be two device. One LN to control, and the otherĀ  LM configured only as DYNDNS server and VPN Client. Would be a good solution.

Best regards
