network doesn't work - LM5 lite
#1
Hi:
I don't know what has happened but when I am testing bacnet communication, the network has broken and lights off.
I've reseted the device and nothing.
What can I do?
The situation is critical as the system is in production.
Thanks

I can't connect with LM5 and leds network are turn off.
The others leds - green - are ok.

During today I have been able to connect, until I've executed a script every 10 s to read bacnet values.
What can I do now?

Reset networking with IP to factory default

Do you mean hardware factory reset by pressing the reset button for 10sec, release and then press for another 10 sec?
Did you check network cable?

Yes, I've used the same cable to another device and it is ok

Maybe you didn't perform the reset correctly, it is easy to miss a step. Do as fallow.
Press reset button and LED2 will go RED.
Wait till LED2 will start flashing RED
Release the button and press again, LED2 will go RED
Wait till LED will start flashing faster and then release
If you see same LED behavior then reset was done correctly and LM will have IP 192.168.0.10

This still does not explain why network LEDs are off.

Could It be right if I reinstall the firmware?

How do you want to do it if you can't connect to it?
You can always flash the SD card to fresh firmware if nothing helps.

Nothing... The device is new and I have only test Bacnet Connection for 2 days. It is true that when I created the script I have to reset it but only once...
