two LM in the same installation
#1
Good morning,

I have a configuration question...

In an installation we have a LM, the installation is quite big, once the KNX programming is finished, I have to export a large number of objects to BacnetIP (about 3500 objects approximately).

For this purpose, another LM is going to be installed, as I understand that the maximum number of variables to be exported via BacnetIP is 2000.

How would be the best way to configure the two LM? so that there are no bouncing problems or similar?

Thank you very much!

LMs automatically exchange object values via KNX/IP. Looping is caused when both LMs are connected to the same TP line, so don't connect the second LM to KNX/TP. Set KNX connection mode to IP routing on it. Then adjust KNX filters on both LMs to only send what's needed.
