PC can't login LM2
#1
Dear Admin,

When retrofit a 10 years system which equipped with LM2, we can't login it with PC, and LM2 seems works normally with other systems for example-HVAC .
Password is correct(=admin), LM2 can't switch to "http://192.168.0.10/scada-main" page.
When power off this LM2, we have to wait about 2 hours to reboot it successfully.
Now we can't backup the LM2 without going to "utilities" page.
Any suggestion to solve this problem?
Thanks for your time.

Most likely storage is corrupted.
Which hardware version do you have? There are different hardware versions of LM2. First one with an ethernet port in the middle and a separate USB ports. The second one has an ethernet port on the right combined with a single USB port. The first one has a built-in storage chip which means that data recovery is most likely not possible. The second one uses a micro SD card where some data might be recoverable.

Dear Admin,

Fortunately, this LM2 uses a micro SD card.
Could you please guide me how to recovery a backup from this SD card?
May I have the firmware file around Year 2018 for LM2?
Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Richard

Get a new micro SD, preferably industrial or high endurance. Then follow this guide: https://kb.logicmachine.net/misc/reflash...ng-player/
Use LM2 IMX firmware https://dl.openrb.com/lm-24-mxs/lm2i-20240426.img

After that you will need a PC or VM with Linux to copy all files from the last (third) partition of the old card to the new one.

Hello, I have my own application on the Apple Store and Google Play to access the Logic Machine. The app is Indotica. With the new firmware version, it doesn't work, it gets stuck.  I have my own cloud and my own security. Could you tell me what changes in the new authentication system so that I can convey it to my development team and they can solve the problem for me? Its very important for me to can use the new firmware. Now im downgrading it but i mean that the new firmware solve problems and new functions that i want to use. For example the package for modbus its diferent on both versions and there is no published idependently the last one.

Thaks in advance
