Welcome everyone,   we can see you are very eager to start so here it is.
 
As the name suggest this is beta testing of not finished and buggy software.   This app is in constant development, so it was bit hard to debug it properly.  We think it is safe to use but please make yourself a backup if you are using a live device to test.
 
During the Beta testing we will be giving you some tasks to do and today is the first one. 
Your first task is to use Visu (our temporary name) and create a project. You must do it without any extra information from our side. We want to test if you can use this app without additional training.  As the only tip I will give you one:  the app is mix of Visualisation and Mosaic. 
You have a week for this, and we will not answer a single question during this time. It is up to you to figure things up.
 
Some rules for easier communications as we have over 20 testers.  Please do not write comments here only create your own thread with your name for identifications. Keep writing comments along the way as you will be playing with it. We want to see what was simple and what was complicated and how long it took you to discover things. Do it in your own thread so we can see how everyone was doing.
 
After a week I would like you to send me backup of your project.  For full backup we will need to modify firmware so you will have to send me Visu backup and LM project backup together.   
 
This app can be installed on any hardware (imx6) but in next versions we will be sending you also the firmware and we can provide it only for LM with iMX6 cpu. 
 
Known bug:

• After adding custom image you may need to close the window and open again or refresh.
  

PS. CTRL + F5 is your friend during testing

How to report bugs

1. Provide your OS and browser version
   
2. Provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the issue
   
3. Check browser error console (F12) and provide the error log if you see errors in the console
   
4. See if reloading the page fixes the issue or the bug is still there

Hello everyone
 
A week past and we collected a lot of feedback which was extremely valuable. Thanks to all of you who took the time to share your inputs.
I strongly encourage remaining testers to join and share your thoughts.
 
Here is a new version with many bugs fixed and several improvements which were suggested.
Would be nice if you could share general feedback about the Visu. It is very nice and motivating to hear good words, but the negative things are the info which will let us improve. Do not hesitate to share your opinion.
 
PS. The most exciting features were not yet discovered by you
 
New features:
-Decimal settings were added to custom widget
-Images can be imported as zip
-Added shape to custom widget in compact mode
-Added invert for vertical slider
 
 
Fixed bugs:
-Image import and delete
-Page title color follows global appearance
-Custom value range fixed for the highest value
-Custom widgets follows global appearance
-Text label in tile is now vertically centered
-Fix adding child level to level
-Many minor fixes

Hi all

New version with new features. As I pointed earlier there will be time when firmware upgrade will be needed and the time is now

It is very stable version but as always take necessary steps before upgrade (backup!)
For now we will share two most common versions. If you need something specific let us know in your thread.

LM5 Lite (3 DIN units): image file | signature
LM5 Lite + Ext (4 or 6 DIN units): image file | signature

We reworked how the local and global appearance works and due to this some of your widgets styling might not work on existing project. It will be correct only on newly created widgets.

New features:
- User access - see LogicMachine - User access (the User access app was not updated)
- PIN for Plans and Levels
- Units - It uses the units which are on the object
- Appearance reworked
- Custom CSS moved under Settings
- Multiple widget selection using mouse

Hi All
 
Sorry for the waiting but we had to do some major re-work in the engine as some library had to be updated to make Visu safe and future proof. Due to this nearly everything had to be re-tested and fixed.
Our plan is to release this version as soon as possible. We don’t want to wait till this app is perfect only let it out and then keep adding new stuff on the way.  Now we need your help to fully debug it, I hope we can count on You!
 
While testing please use firmware from post above and start your project from scratch.  Your old project will not work but it should be the last time you have to do it.
