LLDP protocol support?
#1
Hello,
One of my customers asked me if our LMs support the LLDP protocol, which would help their IT department identify on which physical port our LM is connected.
Does the LM support this protocol?

Yes I know, we talked about it in another thread, but it seems to me that they are slightly different: 802.1X is for authenticating on a network switch, while LLDP is more about broadcasting information about the device. Anyway, I will ask them if 802.1X can do the job. Thanks.
