Hello everyone,
I'm seeking advice and guidance for a meeting/conference room management project in an office building, specifically regarding integration with an access control system based on the Logic Machine LM5 from Embedded Systems.
Context:
How can I implement this access control logic and integration with the Logic Machine LM5?
Thank you in advance for your help!
I'm seeking advice and guidance for a meeting/conference room management project in an office building, specifically regarding integration with an access control system based on the Logic Machine LM5 from Embedded Systems.
Context:
- The building has a reception area and approximately 5 rooms (meeting/conference rooms).
- Each room is equipped with an electrified door, without physical keypads or badge readers.
- Web Booking Calendar:
- We need a web page (on a local server) with an Outlook-like calendar.
- Reception staff and some executives should be able to access this page to book/block rooms.
- The calendar should display availability and bookings for each room, date, and time.
- We need a web page (on a local server) with an Outlook-like calendar.
- Integrated Access Control:
- Once a booking's date and time are confirmed, the system must send an email to the person indicated in the booking (typically an executive).
- Only this person should be able to access the booked room's entrance.
- Access to the booked entrance must be exclusively via a dedicated mobile application (the "SERVER app"), without the use of physical badges or keypads. The email will contain a "token" or "key" that the app will use to authorize door opening.
- Once a booking's date and time are confirmed, the system must send an email to the person indicated in the booking (typically an executive).
