Hello,
I’d like to share an application we developed and currently use in our own projects. The application retrieves real-time, hourly, and daily weather information from tomorrow.io and writes it to group addresses. The app supports both Turkish and English languages.
Here’s how to use it:
1-) To transfer real-time and forecast weather data to Logic Machine based on location, you first need to create an account for your project on the tomorrow.io website, which provides a free API . To access weather data, you’ll need an API key. After creating your tomorrow.io account, you’ll see your API key—enter it into the required field.
2-) To receive location-based weather data, you must enter the latitude and longitude in this section. You can obtain this information from Google Maps by checking the installation location of your Logic Machine.
3-) Click the Connect button.
4-) Go to the Objects menu in the application. The app automatically generates weather points. Select English as the language. Choose a starting group address, for example 40/1/1. Then click the Create objects button. This will create group addresses with English names, English units, and custom values. From now on, you can monitor weather data in real-time, hourly, and daily through these group addresses.
5-) In the Settings section, you’ll find options to deactivate the app and reset settings.
I hope you’ll find this application useful. Please feel free to share your feedback!
