LM as KNX/IP interface

Hi,
I (suddenly = in one installation) cannot use the LM5 as a KNX/IP interface (ETS 6 (as well as 5) says: KNX Interface not available; and  when "creating" the connection in ETS6 I received a message, that ping was OK but no KNX device description was identified)....
Cannot the cause be the fact, that the LAN in question has a "non-standard" range (to be exact: 53.33.172.xxx) - and LM evaluates the access as "remote"   ?
(Note web-access to the editor, visu, etc. works ok; KNX connection itself (TP) as well, settings as "usual").
Have anybody any idea?

This is public IP so yes KNX will be blocked for security reasons.
