Hardware Problem: HW reset does not work
#1
Hi,
I have a login problem with a LM of my customer. It can be reach only locally (no zerotier, non LM cloud). When I try to insert admin password it does not work. On first page app I see Visu Page but when I try to connect it does not work. LM is going on to think.

I tried to make an HW reset LM pushing the reset button for more than 10 second but nothing change. I mean that IP address is now to default (192.168.0.10) but admin default password does not work. Hence HW reset has not gone well.

How is it possible? How can I reset it. Please consider that some weeks ago I update to the last firmware. Hw label is shown in picture.

Thank you for your support.

Regards.

When you press Reset button, 10 seconds. IP address go to default 192.168.0.10
If you press again 10 seconds, user/pass go to default admin/admin

It is also important to monitor the LED to correctly perform the hardware factory reset. Press reset button and LED will go RED, after 10sec it will start blinking, then release the button and press again(LED will go RED) after 10 sec it will start flashing but faster this time. Release and HW factory reset will happen. Alternatively you can flash the SD card.

Hi, unfortunately it does not work. Even if I see the red led starts blinking faster LM is not reset.
admin password is not defalt password.

Shall I flash the SD card? Where can I find the file to flash? The hardware shown in picture is suitable for the last firmware I used for i.MX6 CPU?

Thanks.

Most likely your SD card is damaged then and it should be replaced.

Thank you Daniel,
could you let me know memory capacity of SD card?

Since hardware is not new could you confirm me if it is i.MX6 CPU?

Thanks.

Yes, this LM has i.MX6 CPU.
Card size should be 1GB or more. Industrial or high-endurance card is highly recommended.
