Spacelynk visu
#1
Hi
I am running Spacelynk 1.2.1 on a project.

When opening configuration in Internet Explorer, no values or objects are showed ?

When opening configuration in Firefox everything is normal.

After the Firefox has stopped supporting Java, the ventilation systems build in web reader can't be opened in Firefox. Therefore I have to use Internet Explorer on the visu.

What makes the objects disapear in Internet Explorer in Configuration?

Hi,

Internet Explorer (and even Edge) are not full HTML5 as Microsoft always promoted Silverlight.

Now they are catching up but they are still not 100% there...

Use firefox, safari or chrome for best results.

Ok. So then I have to use Firefox on Configuration and Internet Explorer on visulation to get Java on the ventilation systems... Will Java apps work on firefox\chrome\safari again in the future?
And when is it to work?

Another question Erwin, I am running 1.2.1 of spacelynk now. Is the new firmware 100% complete or should I wait.

I found a bug in Modbus profiles in 1.2.1 firmware. When adding new profile the names from profile and knx adress is automatically transfered. But if the modbus is updated and gets values then the knx adresses is automaticaly added with blank names. This should be added once the Modbus profile is made.
Now i have to change the adress of modbus device so it doesnt get updated. Then delete all the objects with blank names. Then open the modbus mapping of the device and manually add one by one group adress to get the names correct.
At last I can change the modbus adress back to the correct one so the group adress gets the values... A little confusingSmile
