spacelYnk - modbus TCP slave
#1
Hi!
I have a problem.
I use spacelYnk gateway and I want to use it as a slave from KNX to Modbus TCP in StruxureWare Building Operation.

I used 'AN016_spaceLYnk_as_a_Modbus_slave' document for example. Despite the corect connect i have problem with read and send registers.

Can I get help with scripting. Could anyone to explain step by step how to solve below tasks:
1 - I want to read value from KNX group (ex. 0/1/0) on Modbus Register Input.
2 - Sent value from Modbus Register Output to variable in spacelYnk group (ex. 0/1/5)

Kind regards

Can you use BACnet instead? It's much easier to setup.

Hi
Use bacnet IP instead of modbus and you don't have to use script.

In originally according to the guidelines in the project requires Modbus TCP, but after consultation is agree to using BACnet.

so, how to do it by BACnet?

Bacnet is already there Smile
Export objects which you want to see in SBO and then setup BACnet settings in system.
As far I know in SBO you have to add bacnet network and discover devices. SE has another AN about this Smile
