I am trying to communicate with 3 CANx devices and I am unable after having done a reset, what can it be?

I'm not sure in what state you left them. The easiest is to make new re-flash of firmware.

Is there any danger of bricking them when you're doing a firmware update?

I did it lots of time and no problem up to now.

Not for CANx devices. USB flashing works even when device does not have any firmware flashed yet.
