scripting and using tags - Dré - 19.12.2021 My question is, what is the best place to place the script. i have some scripts what i use for lights and blinds. at the moment i placed the scripts on the triggers like 'light sensor outside'. But now i think it is better to place the script on the action, like the groupadress of the blinds. because if i place the scripts in the trigger, and i have multiple scripts for the blinds, i dont know where to look by a fault or changing. My question is, where do you place the scripts, by trigger or by action? or is there a better solution? is there a maximum of tags i can use in total or by 1 groupadress? RE: scripting and using tags - Daniel - 20.12.2021 You can run script bu start-up, event(single group, tag), resident(run it every X seconds) or scheduled. Which one you use it depends of your script. Not possible to recommend anything from your description. Tags are not restricted. RE: scripting and using tags - Dré - 21.12.2021 Thanks Daniel. |
