Email controlling

maybe someone has some experience in controlling LM via emails in such way:

LM sends an email e.g. "There is no people in your house. Should I turn off lights in thje Kitchen?"

If user respond to this email "yes"(in 5 minutes) LM will switch off this lights.

Hi,

Not possible as there is no SMTP server available.

What you could do is use IFTTT for this, make a mail channel and a maker channel and send on a mail event a http command from the maker channel to the remote services of your controller.

Maybe its partially possible.

Last year i used a solution to handle some things in the LM when i received some Notes (with a imap connection). I think you can use Email instead of Notes.
