Advise configuring ETS project

Hi,

I have the LM connected to the main line, 1.0,  this is connected with 3 line couplers, 1.1,1.2 and 1.3.  


1.1 Main Panels
1.2 1st floor
1.3  2nd floor

Group Addresses (objects are defined on the LM to control shades)  Each address just runs a event based script.

In the ETS project,  I have created these addresses linked to an dummy device setup on the main line,  1.0.249 

Then these addresses are linked to switch buttons on the 1.1 and 1.2 lines.

Now the question is should I enable the option,  'Pass through line coupler' for this range group addresses?

Hi,

Do you have a lot of cyclic sending devices like motion sensors and thermostats?

If not then i would concider to disabling filters in the couplers with just 3 lines as i think you will have very low traffic and filtering is not needed. So why would you make it more difficult then needed.

If you want to enable filtering then all control and feedback addresses used in the controller need to be in the tables and be passed through to the lines where they are used.
