#1
Hi,

I create an association in DALI CANX and I can operate the lights... but in KNX is not working ? Why?

The lights are only ON/OFF dali (without dimming)... that helps ?

Hi,
I have an installation with an LM5p2-KCD, and this is the second time the client has reported that the DALI lights have stopped working properly. The installation had been running without issues for almost a year, but these problems started about a month ago.
No modifications have been made to the installation since then. Is there any known issue currently with the DALI system? I mention this because on a previous occasion I had problems with the CANx-DALI gateways, and it was necessary to perform a hardware update.
The installation also includes a photovoltaic system, in case that could be related, as I’ve seen some colleagues experience issues with the KNX bus due to this.
It's worth mentioning that after restarting the LM, the system returns to normal operation. I don’t have a screenshot of the DALI monitor due to my oversight, but if I remember correctly, the message shown was:
Raw data: 80 | Information: Error: GW timeout
I would appreciate any guidance or information you can provide on this matter.
Best regards,

We would need to reproduce this bug, any hint on when this happen? What do you have on the bus? What is the voltage on dali?

Unfortunately, the issue does not occur in a predictable way. On both occasions, it was the client who noticed that the lights were not responding, without any clear intervention or pattern. Also, since this is a second residence, I don’t know the exact moment when these incidents occurred.
There are 21 ballasts for LED strips installed on the DALI bus. I haven’t been able to go on-site to measure the voltage yet, but I’m planning to capture the message from the DALI monitor again if the issue reappears and to arrange a visit to the installation for a more detailed inspection.
