Zigbee devices dropping off LogicMachine network, looking for tested, reliable sensos
#1
Hello everyone,

I’m using LogicMachine Zigbee app as the coordinator/gateway and I’m experiencing stability issues with some Zigbee end devices.

Observed issue

Some Zigbee sensors:
  • Pair successfully
  • Work fine for hours or days
  • Then silently drop off the Zigbee network if Logic Machine has energy lost in a long time
  • Do not rejoin automatically
  • Require factory reset and re-pairing to work again

This behavior is very similar to what was mentioned in previous forum posts, where certain devices seem to require vendor-specific periodic messages / check-in frames, and if they don’t receive them, they eventually leave the network.

Devices where I see this problem
  • Sonoff SNZB-04P (Door/Window Sensor)
  • Sonoff LCD Temperature & Humidity Sensor

In the same Zigbee demo/network, Philips Hue lamps remain fully stable, acting as reliable routers, so mesh quality does not appear to be the main issue.

What I’m looking for

I would like to build a reliable Zigbee installation on LogicMachine and avoid devices that:
  • Drop off the network after some time
  • Require periodic vendor-specific messages
  • Need manual reset to rejoin

Request to the community

Could you please recommend Zigbee devices that you have personally tested with LogicMachine Zigbee app, and that:
  • Stay connected long-term
  • Rejoin the network correctly after outages
  • Do not require non-standard keepalive mechanisms

I’m specifically interested in tested and proven models for:
  • Door / Window (magnetic) contact sensors
  • Smoke detectors
  • Water leak sensors

Brand names alone are helpful, but exact model numbers would be ideal.

Thanks in advance for sharing your real-world experience.
