Schedule script at sunset/sunrise + offset
#1
I've noticed various threads referring to adding an event to the scheduler but I can't figure out where to do this Sad

I want to run a script to turn on/off lights at specific time intervals offset to sunset or sunrise.

Found this picture on the forum (solar noon thread):

Which is probably exactly what I need but I have no idea where this is to be configured Sad

If I try to add a scheduler it will just ask for object/active/scheduler on-off object/name/category/start & end data....
If I try to add a scheduled script it requires minutes/hours/day of the month/etc.

If I chose 'Schedulers' on the home screen I only get a tab for 'Holidays'.

Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

Schedulers -> Add schedulers, fill in "Object" and "Name", click save.
Then click the "event" button, click "Add event" and in there you can specify when and what the "Object" needs to do.

Hi Phil
First add scheduled
Second add event
Third fill the event as you need . If you want sunrise or sunset click on the drop down menu where you see specific hour.
Best regards Cristian

What location (longitude/latitude) does the LM use to calculate sunrise/sunset? I don't remember setting the LM location anywhere and it is not connected to the internet so it can't use that either...

Coordinates and timezone are set Utilities > Date & time. It's recommended for LM to have internet connection for clock synchronization.
