Universal metering consumption script

Hi,

I need help/ideas how to create universal script for any type of meters (I don't mention communication here - how we will receive data - over lan, ModBus profiles, direct communication, etc..). 
I need to see periodical consumption for different meters during a day (24 groups - every hour, will be reset with new day starting, consumption for every day (31 group max and for every month - means + more 12 groups - 67 in total for one counter).

I used manual data saving using Scheduled scripts, but huge amount of manual work. If I need such data for some counters - terrible time wasting for one by one group creation and calculations..

Many of my customers want to see detailed info about consumption using visualization. If we will create such universal script I think it will help many users. 

One group should be used for receiving data from meter (electrical meter - watts per hour as example) and all others just calculations where I have a bit problems to create it by optimized way.

Now I have a private house project where PAS600 server and 10 electrical meters (PowerTags) are used. For them I need such detailed info..

Why don't you use Counter trend for this?

Ok, but can I show just values separately exporting them from trends? If I will data in the groups, later I can create more advanced logic if needed

You can always fetch the data from trends.
