http string commands to LM
#1
Hi there,
I have some problem to send http commands to LM. The string is the following and obviously I enable remote service:

http://remote:password@ip-address/scada-remote?m=json&r=grp&fn=write&alias=0/0/54&value=true (to control 0/0/54).

If I test it on a web browser sometime works and sometime LM login page appears without send command. Hence I cannot understand what is the difference.

I try to send the http from an external device which it working properly for other HTTP strings but I cannot send string to LM.

What do you suggest to check?

Thanks.

Regards.

Do you have "Send Basic auth header" enabled in Remote services settings? If not then enable and try again.

I do it and I try again later on. I keep you informed.

In the meanwhile I have seen on web browser that web response is simply "true" and not OK 200. Is it normal?

Thanks.

"true" is what grp.write() returns when the write succeeded. "200 OK" is the first response header which is not shown by the browser.
