Well, it is the most flexible system, but you are suggesting to program a Homekit integration from scratch? I think most users/integrators are not up for that task.
I would think and wish LM could do this, but for now the only viable option is to buy a Thinka or two, and be done with it.
LM would see their sales skyrocket if they implement a good Homekit bridge into it. For now I always use Thinkas on all of our projects. The new version will even have a chip that will make it an Apple certified product.
So yeah, this is a highly demanded feature, and I would go back buying LM's for projects if Homekit is supported.
