Application Store documentation and sample app

Hi Dev,
I 've decided to improve my knowledge in LM working on Apps development. I ve download the Sample.zip study them and start with my first app. I'm facing a problem, as in Lua using the log() it is very simple make debug of the code, in the other language it is pretty hard (for me). I have a problem in the jQuery/js file and I thought that insert the line console.log(my variable) or console.log('im here') can help me. But in the Chrome console doesn't appear nothing. Where m'I wronging? Is there some other tricks for debug?

I reply to myself..... console.log() works on Firefox.
