You are mixing things up. Widgets as script.js were used in Mosaic but not in Visu, these are totally different tools. If you want total customization you can make your own app.

Otherwise use Visu and just modify graphical appearance of elements, it has a lot of options, the screenshots you provided can be achieved to some degree.
