Create/Delete Scheduler events

Hey,

I am trying to figure out a way to create/delete schedulers/scheduler events from scripts.
I found that you can update values in pre-existing schedulers and events but is it possible to create them from scripts?

I am currently using this to update the values within already created events.

Code:

    db:update('scheduler_events', { --Update schedulers
      start_hour = startHr,
      start_min = startMin
       }, { name = schedEvent} )

You can insert data like this. But you have to carefully fill all fields, there's no guarantee that it will work if some field value are incorrect.
