knxproj file over 200kB can't convert to ESF
#1
Hello,

I try to use converter from knxproj file to ESF using utility:

http://openrb.com/convert/

but my .knxproj file is over 200KB Sad  What to do?? In ETS not so many groups, but file aprox. 925KB.

What do you recommend??

Alex

P.S. I checked other project's files - they are big enough - 13.5Mb...

ESF utility is for fixing ESF file locale. You need to use http://openrb.com/knxproj/ to convert knxproj to JSON which then can be imported to LM.

Hello, I try to use the link to convert the objects to Json but now I get this message and this tool does not work 'Please use built-in KNX project import in LM'

What for? In latest fw you can import whole knx.proj directly.

So no idea how to get it. The objects imported in LM are not copied to CAN and I have tried to load the project within the CAN app and it gives an error.

What are the steps?

There's a CANx app test version with KNX project import built-in:
https://dl.openrb.com/pkg/canx-20220420.ipk
https://dl.openrb.com/pkg/canxdali-20220420.ipk

Thanks Admin, I did not see the way to do it as Daniel indicated.

The regulation objects (4 bits) continue to cause problems and discard them as invalid.
