Only analog (numeric) and binary values are supported by BACnet swrver.

Hello again.

Is it possible to transfer time and/or dates through BACnet?

I need to send sunset and sunrise times to an atvise server through bacnet but I am struggeling

Date/time BACnet type is not supported. A possible workaround is to split hours and minutes into separate numeric objects.

If you want to combine it with a scheduler then make a 'and' logic, put the output of this script to input 1, output of the schedular to input 2 and the control object to the output of your 'and' logic.

I have no idea anymore, this code is so old and not used anymore from the day that schedulers has the option to set on sunrise/sunset.

Given the variable is called “nowdark” i assume it’s true when dark but i strongly advise to use the build-in method on the schedulers..
