Zerotier and Local Network
#1
Good morning,
I am setting a LM in remote by Zerotier. Hence IP address of connection is not the local network.

In the meantime I need to test modbus device on network by TCP/IP communication but devices are in timeout.

Modbus variables are correct and all devices are on line because if I use ping test by LM I can reach them.

Could be the problem related to Zerotier network?

Thanks.

If you use Read test then it is LM sending locally the commands. Zerotier has no influence on this.

Hi Daniel,
thank you. I have sort it out. Problem was related to ID modbus device. It was different from 1 and even if on LM communication ID was the same of the device communication was in timeout.

I changed the ID to 1 and now everything works fine. It is very strange because with modscan I did not find any problem even if ID was different from 1.

Thanks.
