Adding camera on Visu app
#1
Sorry if you already discussed the mater, but I could not find any guidance on it.
I have an IP camera (HIKVISION), which i would like to see on my Visu app.
I can access the camera through any browser, but when I add it in Visu, I don't get
any picture.
Any idea on what might be wrong?

I tried a few, but with no success.
This (http://192.168.99.182/doc/page/preview.asp) is the one I use to access the camera through my browser

Hi,
Try thisĀ
http://<up cam>:<port>/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/101/picture
Set proxy with your credentials and refresh every 1 sec
Best regards Cristian

Hi,

working for me: http://IP/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/102/p...Height=320

Resolution should be provided and checked, some HIK cameras not showing stream without resolution in link.

Moments to check:
1. Just not remember, but I think for stream you want to use - MJPEG coding should be used. In my link - 102 means 2nd stream, so check settings for camera's 2nd stream;
2. Select mark "Request snapshot using local proxy and put login and pass for stream you want to use";
3. Put refresh rate not less than 5 seconds. Some time is needed to create picture, some to send it. This is just snapshots and not works in real time. Not forget about load to network/proxy/cloud etc..;
4. Check size of the snapshot - admin told me it should not be over than 1 Mb (Just open picture from visu in new window and save it, check size). At one site I have new 4 MP HIK cameras and some problems because of snapshot is over 1Mb but customer locally need both streams with max quality..
