Gmail is not meant for automated e-mails. Their more secure authentication methods require human interaction. You can use other e-mail provider that does not require additional settings for smtp to work.

I understand the limitation here. Since google consider the app less secure for the email and it is the significant player as well, it may pose the security concerns at some stage. On other hand, is there any recommended smtp servers that we shall be using and advise for automated email.
