IP/MAC device check in local network
#1
Hi,
I'd like to write a script with some actions depending on users phones connected to a local wifi (with MACs bound to local IPs).

Is there a way thru LM to check if a phone with known IP and MAC is connected to a local network?
I suppose the ping method will only work with androids and will not work on iphones.

Thanks

The only reliable solution is to get wireless registration table from the router. Examples for Mikrotik: https://forum.logicmachine.net/showthread.php?tid=2911
