Hello, something similar happened to me. Suddenly the device (a LSS100100) stopped working and it didn't blink after resteng the power, only the red LED inside. I tried with 3 different microSD cards and all them worked in another device but not in the broken one, so I deduce that the cards where ok. After that, I tried with Schneiders restore image, and it didn't work. Today I used the logicmachine's recovery image, and I success in powering it on. After that, I used the correct firmware for my device hardware.
It's something strange that the Schneider's restore image works in some cases and not in others, but this had happened to me in the last few months, before that it worked flawlesly. I also have a backup of a working clean image, and it works fine.
