LM as BACnet server/client at same time
#1
Hi,

I would like to be able to read and write on bacnet objects through an ABB controller and to do so I would need to configure LM both as a bacnet server and client.

I necessarily have to use the same bacnet port 47808 for both functions (at least that's what I understood), but I could set two different instance IDs (eg. 127001 as Server and 127002 as Client).

In fact at the moment I can read and write using two LMs configured with the same bacnet port and different IDs.

Is it possible to set two different instance IDs on the same LM?

Otherwise what do you suggest?

Thanks

Peppe

You don't have to be server for reading and client for writing, just one of them is fine for both actions. Is this Abb controller a server or client?

it is a server ABB CYLON FBXI. Now, it seems to be working... maybe I had to wait a little more due the polling time Smile

Thanks
