BACnet unknow-object

Hi,

I'm currently having alot of issues with multiple LM's. They seem to sometimes respond with unknown-object on objects that do exist in their db and then they immediately fix themsleves right after.

Has anyone else had these problems? I have a log from a python script I made to show the issue;

Multiple LM in same network

Hello Dears,
What is the best configuration to sepaerate multiple LM from each others.
while each one represent differnt appartment and placed in a different KNX Line.

process 'reactorra' taking an enormous amount of CPU

Hello,
The CPU of a LM is very overloaded (load average ~ 3.00). We decided to investigate it.

When we run the command `top`, we see that the process responsible for managing the inputs/outputs (`lua /lib/genohm-scada/plugins/reactorra/daemon.lua`) eats up a good part of the CPU resources: column "%CPU" indicates a number that is almost all the time around 30% for this process, but we've seen it go as high as 57%!

This is very strange, given that:
- There is no input/output connected to this LM (all 16 rows in the "Reactor" tab are blank in the scada-main interface)
- This LM is equipped with the latest firmware (20251204).

Model is LM5 Reactor IO V2/V3 (i.MX6).

Do you have any idea where this could come from and how we could solve it?

I need to use a dummy module as a placeholder in a project. I saw that Schneider makes one specifically for SpaceLogic—can I use that? Are there universal ones available? Does LogicMachine have a specific one for this purpose?

kamailio-imx6 install.lua: a failed download leaves an unrepairable partial install

Three observations about the installation method in
kb.logicmachine.net/integration/sip-server/, in case they are useful.

1. A FAILED DOWNLOAD LEAVES A PARTIAL INSTALL, SILENTLY

The script runs ten os.execute('opkg --force-depends install http://...')
calls and checks none of their return values. The guard at the top is

if not io.exists('/etc/init.d/kamailio')

and /etc/init.d/kamailio is created by the fourth package (kamailio3) -
before the six module packages are installed.

So if a download fails after kamailio3 succeeds, the result is a running
Kamailio with some modules missing, and re-running the script does
nothing, because the guard is now satisfied. Nothing reports an error.
During my own installation one of the downloads did not complete
(dl.openrb.com was not responding at that moment - it is reachable again
now), which is how I noticed this.

This does not seem to be a one-off. While checking which module packages
exist, I made twelve sequential requests to the same host: eleven returned
a status (200 or 404) and one returned no response at all. That one was
kamailio3-mod-maxfwd, which does exist - it returned 200 when I retried
the identical request a minute later. I cannot rule out something on my
own network, but a single dropped request in a run of twelve is enough to
break an unchecked ten-step install.

Checking the exit status of each opkg call, or testing for one of the
module files instead of the init script, would make a retry actually
repair the install.

2. PLAIN HTTP, AND HTTPS CANNOT SIMPLY BE SUBSTITUTED

The packages are fetched over plain HTTP with no signature verification
and installed as root with --force-depends. Worth noting for anyone
thinking of just changing the URLs: the wget on the device is the BusyBox
build with no TLS support - it returns "not an http or ftp url" for an
https URL. So the client side would need attention too if TLS or signed
distribution were ever considered.

3. FIRMWARE UPGRADES

The article says the script must be executed again after each firmware
upgrade, which matches what I found - the device has no overlay
filesystem (/dev/root is mounted directly on /), so everything under / is
replaced. Is including Kamailio in the firmware image an option?
Re-running a script after every upgrade is workable for one device, but
combined with point 1 a partially repaired install would be easy to miss.

Kamailio 3.3.7 on LM5M3: can the package be rebuilt? (branch limit 12, no dialog)

Hello,

I am using the Kamailio SIP registrar described in
kb.logicmachine.net/integration/sip-server/ on an LM5M3. The device tree
reports "i.MX6UL LM5M3", ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l), with genohm-scada
20251204. I installed it with the official resident-script method for the
i.MX6 target:

- kamailio3 3.3.7-1_imx6, plus the maxfwd, usrloc, registrar, rr, sl
and tm modules
- your default kamailio.cfg, unmodified

First, it works well and I want to be clear about that. With no
configuration changes I get multiple contacts registered against a single
AoR, parallel forking to all of them, first-answer-wins with CANCEL to the
losing branches, and RTP flowing directly between the endpoints -
including between different subnets - since no media relay module is
loaded. This is exactly the behaviour I need from a registrar for
door-entry intercoms.

I have run into three limits that all appear to need a rebuild rather than
a configuration change, so my main question is simply: is a rebuilt
package for the i.MX6 target something that can be provided? If not, the
individual items below are moot.

1. BRANCH LIMIT OF 12

I registered 15 contacts against one AoR. All 15 registered successfully,
but an incoming call forked to only 12 of them. I repeated the test and
got 12 again, with a different subset of 12 each time. The log shows:

ERROR: [dset.c:306]: append_branch(): max nr of branches exceeded
ERROR: registrar [lookup.c:298]: lookup(): failed to append a branch

Since this is MAX_BRANCHES in the core rather than a module parameter, I
cannot raise it from kamailio.cfg. I need at least 16 branches on a single
AoR.

Could the package be rebuilt with a larger MAX_BRANCHES, or with the limit
exposed as a core parameter?

2. DIALOG MODULE

It is not in the package. I looked for a kamailio3-mod-dialog .ipk at the
distribution path, using the same naming pattern as the six modules that
are published, and got 404. Same result for auth, auth_db, xlog, textops
and nathelper, while all six published modules return 200.

Without dialog there is nothing to clean up a session left behind when an
endpoint disappears without sending BYE. Device-side call timers cover
some of this, but not the case where only one side is gone.

Is adding this module possible?

Also absent, so any device can register with any credentials. This is fine
on a test bench but not something I can leave in place.

4. KAMAILIO VERSION

3.3.7 is from 2013 and no longer receives security fixes. Is a current
branch (5.x or 6.x) for i.MX6 on the roadmap? I understand the
configuration syntax differs and that this is the largest of the four
requests.

ONE MORE THING THAT MADE DIAGNOSIS HARDER

There is no mi_fifo or kamctl, so I have no way to inspect the location
table and see which devices are currently registered. If there is another
way to read usrloc on the LM, I would be glad to hear it.

I am happy to test any package and report results back here.

Remote access for multiple users on a single LogicMachine

Hi,
I have a question regarding remote access for multiple users.

I have an apartment building with a single LogicMachine installed.
For each apartment I need to create a simple control interface in Mosaic or a custom solution in the Old Visualization — the client hasn’t decided yet. There is only one LM, but 10 apartments, and each apartment must have its own remote access.

Is it possible to add multiple LM Cloud accounts to one LM?
Or is the only option to create standard local users and provide remote access through VPN or Zerotier?

hello dears,
I have customer with SL V3.0.0
port forword is open for external access, while today he complain of strange actions happened on the home (lights ON/OFF, shutters UP/down AC...)
I check the Access logs and I find a puplic IP with several failed login attempt, then after few minutes the home start switching on and off itself!

how could this thing happened? and how to prevent it?
the first step I block the portforword, but could this happened through portforword?

Restoring LM

Hi

To disturb the client the least, we made a backup from the LM, and put it on a TEST LM.

When doing it again backwards, the restoring erased the icons/images of the Visu app... Is this a bug or does it make sence, that a backup, doesn't include icons/images, but a restorage makes it nil?

Where can we ask for feature requests and would there be people that would like to see tailscale as an application implemented. Just that I already have a heap of tailscale deployed devices and would be good to be able to add LM to my tailnet rather then running both zerotier and tailscale on my laptop? especially on sites where there is no other tailnet device that can give me subnet routing etc

Hi, I have a AUDIO-DINST which can't working anymore.

I try to reset it, but reset botton seems no working (press and hold for 20S still nothing happen)
Is there any manual available for this product? or how to reset it?
