Issue with Astro Function in Spacelynk
#1
Hi,
I am experiencing an issue with the Astro function in Spacelynk, which previously worked perfectly fine for controlling outdoor lights based on sunrise and sunset times. The problem started on December 5th, and now the function behaves oddly. The lights turn on at 23:59 and turn off at 00:01, which is obviously not correct or functional.
I have tested the Astro function on three different installations with various firmware versions, and all of them show the same issue. Additionally, I moved the function to its own virtual group address in Spacelynk for logging purposes, but the problem persists. All installations are located in the same city, and here are the coordinates entered into Spacelynk (the values vary slightly between the installations, but these are representative):
  • Coordinates: 68.71062, 15.39316
For reference, I also tested the same functionality on a Logic Machine, and it works perfectly without any issues. No updates or changes have been made to the systems that could be linked to this problem.
Has anyone else encountered a similar issue, or does anyone have suggestions for possible solutions? I would appreciate any help.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
EL-KIM

We had a report of Latitude/Longitude change which most likely comes from one of SE cloud apps. Check if you have the same.

Can you please explain further what I need to check regarding the coordinates?

That's also correct, Oslo/Europe. Im gonna try changing the coordinates on one of them to a different city down south where they actually has sun this time of year and se if that changes things.

SL and LM use exactly the same logic, it must be something done by SE app. Do you use any?

If you don’t use the app, can you try disabling cloud connector or even fully remove it? I noticed same behavior and this helped, i reported it to R&D but due the holidays i have not got an answer yet..
