I have a customer who started having empty pages displayed when opening Mosaic. When they login through remote.logicmachine.net, the active LogicMachine displays no widgets and the navigation bar is empty. When I login through my account, all widgets and navigations are displayed.

I decided to create a new Cloud account and added this new account to the LogicMachine, so I could attempt to recreate the issue. When I go to Mosaic with this new account, I have the same issue. Recently, the customer's company changed domain name for their emails, so the customer added a new cloud account. Could the issue be related to new users, since Mosaic is now deprecated? 

This customer has 4 LogicMachines with various layouts. I added all 4 LMs to my Cloud account. One of the LMs has a background image on the front page. This background image is displayed when I go to Mosaic on that LM, so it seems communication and access is working. It's just not showing any real content, like navigation, buttons and widgets. This is the case for all 4 LMs.

I opened the console in Chrome, but there were no errors. I checked the network tab in developer tools, but there were no errors I could see. We have attempted numerous devices, on different networks and operating systems, including different types of browsers.

If I go to the LM's website, and use Mosaic through that with the same account that's having issues in cloud, Mosaic works flawlessly.

I have attached 4 photos:
  • Cloud log: Displays the cloud log from one of the LMs. I notice the warning/error to use Visu instead of Mosaic. Is there an issue?
  • Mosaic image 1: Using Mosaic through LM's website, it displays a working front page
  • Mosaic image 2: Using Mosaic through cloud, it displays an empty front page, though with the background showing
  • Developer tools, showing no errors in console or the networking tab

Yes, the eventual hope is to migrate everything to Visu, but right now, we need Mosaic working. Hopefully this is not a deprecation cause.

Btw, since I've already opened a thread, is there a migration guide or tool to migrate things to Visu?

Is there a way to create fully custom widgets from scratch for Mosaic? I'm not referring to the built-in custom widget with its ready-made elements — I mean building something entirely new with custom logic and layout.

Specifically, I'd like to extend the existing Thermostat widget with additional controls and data points, such as:
- HVAC mode selection
- On/Off reg control
- Background color change depending on heating/cooling mode
- etc

Is it possible to build this kind of widget independently and deploy it, for example via FTP?

Any pointers appreciated, thanks!

I've asked this question before.

I have a main screen on a Logic Machine (LM) with IP address 192.168.0.16. I need an external link so that clicking on this screen takes me to another screen located on a different Logic Machine with IP address 192.168.0.11.

The quickest way would be to go to the LINK tab, click "External Link," and then enter "http://192.168.0.11/scada-vis." However, this takes me to the first screen of the Visu interface on the LM with IP address 192.168.0.11, and I want to link to another screen within that same LM.

Cutting to the chase; Internally we needed to create quite a few visualizations, but it quickly became tiring and bothersome to manage multiple objects, align them, etc. So, I created a Firefox extension that simply augments the existing tools inside the visualization system so that we can work more quickly and accurately.

Current capabilities include JSON export and import, along with various alignment and move/copy functions, as demonstrated in the GIFs below. Creating new objects through JSON allows for the automation of many previously manual tasks when running the SpaceLynk as a BMS.

Horizontal spread and align to top:
